Special Nation exists to empower those affected by special needs to experience belonging and to discover their gifts through the radically inclusive love of Jesus Christ.
Special Nation offers a monthly, no-hush, judgment-free, short worship service for the whole family called Special Nation Praise Service. We hope you’ll come and join us where you can worship your very own way on the second Sunday of every month at 10:30am in the R212 Youth Room. Instruments as well as silencing headphones are available. All are welcome!
Also join us for our weekly Special Nation Friends Group! We are hanging out every Wednesday night at 7pm in the Special Nation HQ (the two small buildings to the left of the Redeemer Church sanctuary). Many of us also enjoy the community dinner available in the main building ($5 adults, $3 for children). This is a time of fun, friendship and a brief message. It’s all about community so don’t miss it! Parents and caretakers are welcome.
A new addition to the Special Nation ministry is our Parent Support Group, “Beautifully Broken”, led by a PhD level counselor based on the book “Special Needs Parenting from Coping to Thriving” by Lorna Bradley. Please contact us if you are interested in attending. If this session is full, we will be sure to put you on the list for the next 7-week session.
And of course, we offer accommodations for Sunday mornings including buddies (Wingmen) during the 10:30 service. We also offer a quiet, calm environment for relaxation in our Special Nation Annex. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 904-285-8009 to give us a heads up that you will be joining us or with any questions/requests.
We love prayer requests, too, and have a Special Nation Prayer Team waiting to join you in faith for your journey! Click the button below to submit a prayer request:
