New to Redeemer

Growth Track

The Growth Track enables you to become a member, discover your purpose and realize the potential you have to make a difference at Redeemer Church. We suggest completing the first 3 steps before attending the last step.

Belonging: Learn more about who we are at Redeemer and what it means to belong to a local church. This step happens on the 1st Sunday of every month.

Discovering: Unpack the unique personality and spiritual gifts God has given you! This step happens on the 2nd Sunday of every month.

Following: Find out what it means to be a fully-devoted follower of Jesus and how you can apply your God-given gifts to influence and serve others. This step happens on the 3rd Sunday of every month.

Serving: Make a difference here at Redeemer and in your community through serving. This step happens on the 4th Sunday of every month.

Childcare is available during Growth Track. Signing up for the courses is not required, but we do recommend it especially if you need childcare. Can’t wait to see you there!

rGroups

rGroups are a great way for you to deepen your relationship with Jesus and with your Redeemer family. Meetups happen all around the Ponte Vedra and Jacksonville community.

We believe that joining together to pray as a family and dive deeper into His word is an important part of our culture. There is something powerfully unique about an intimate gathering around a living room, a small classroom, or a dining room table that forces us to think differently than when we are in a big room for worship.

We are always excited to journey through this time as a church family while engaging in personal discovery and community development. We are hopeful that these small gatherings will help build deeper friendships and connections.

We need you

Volunteer on a Serve Team

Teamwork makes the dream work! It might be cheesy but we whole-heartedly believe it. Our Sunday service and events take a whole team of people and we are always looking for new friends to join us. Whether you want to work in production handling lights, video or music slides or if you’re more of a people person and would love to be a greeter, there are plenty of ways for anyone to get involved here!

If you’re interested in signing up or have questions please reach out at any time.  We would love to get you connected to the perfect opportunity.

At Redeemer Church, we strive to equip, support, and send people all over our city and the world to fulfill the Great Commission. Although mission programs and the activities are diverse in nature, the goal of each is to “make disciples, baptize them, and teach them” as the Lord commanded. Redeemer Church’s missions program faithfully responds to Christ’s Great Commission mandate and maximizes the involvement in the congregation in the global harvest. Take a look at some of the opportunities to serve our local community and visit the missions booth in the Epicenter for upcoming mission trips.  If you have any questions please let us know.  We would love to help you take your next steps in fulfilling the Great Commission.

Missions

INTERNATIONAL OUTREACH

Okoa Refuge started as a home for orphaned and vulnerable children. Okoa founders, Tyler and Liv Workman, had a vision to rescue children from dire situations. As you can imagine, once they moved to Uganda in 2012, their vision and dream began to truly take shape. What started as a dream to care for a few children, became a vision to transform entire communities.

Okoa cares for two categories of sponsored children. The first kind are Residential. This means that they live at Okoa full time. Okoa is family and Okoa is home. The second kind are community kids. They live in their homes, but are sponsored by Okoa’s Community Empowerment Program.

For more information, click here, or stop by the Missions booth at church to chat with Leslie and Lumpy Workman for more information about Okoa and child sponsorships.

NATIONAL OUTREACH

Samaritan’s Purse: During times of crisis they have the capacity to air lift over 30 tons of emergency items and provide a team of disaster relief specialists to the areas in need. Click here to partner with Samaritan’s Purse.

Salvation Army: They provide emergency assistance to survivors and first responders after the storm. Click here to partner with the Salvation Army.

Students & Kids

We believe in reaching the next generation and teaching them to change the world

developing child like faith

rKids

Nursery & Preschool

Our Nursery & Preschool ministry serves children from infant through Kindergarten.  Infants and toddlers are cared for in a safe and nurturing environment with lots of opportunities to experience God’s love.  Our children, age 2 thru Kindergarten experience fun interactive activities that help them learn: God made me, God loves me & Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

1st – 5th Grade

The rKids ministry is here to serve kids from 1st thru 5th grade. During our Sunday services, kids experience worship, a message and fun activities that teach them the following: I need to make the wise choice, I can trust God no matter what and I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Safety Information

*Because our children are so important to us, we go to GREAT LENGTHS to ensure your child’s SAFETY and CARE. Please make sure to head to the Child Check-In station, located just outside the sanctuary, when you arrive at the church. Children are checked in by the parent or care giver. They receive a printed label with pertinent information about the child (birthdate, age or allergy warnings). One label is placed on the child and the other is for the parent as identification to pick up their child after the service.

Vacation Bible School

VBS is an exciting theme-based week for your kids. The week consists of live skits, worship, games, crafts, Missions, food, fun and so much more! All kids ages Pre-k through 5th grade are invited to join us for an unforgettable week.  We can’t wait for this incredible time as your children learn and grow in their faith. VBS is $25/child & takes place each year in June from 9am – 12:30am – Check back soon for next years date, theme & registration information.

Ask us anything

We know leaving your kids can be hard at a new church.  Please feel free to ask any questions you may have or schedule a time to tour the kids areas w/ a member of our team.

"Be the One"

Here at Redeemer Church, we believe that students can change the world, and that it only takes one to make a difference. R212 is a gathering of students who love Jesus and want to hang out with other students who share that same love. We hang out, play games, worship, study the Bible and spend time in age and gender-specific tribes where we laugh, grow and build relationships.  If you have any questions or would like to volunteer to serve w/ us please get in touch.
